We credit the creation of the word 'hipstie' to our friend Frank at OMGBlog. It's a combination of hipster and hippie. Picture some cool kids dressed in Margiela and moccasins in a canoe in upstate New York... those kids are hipsties. Famous hipsties include Ben and Andrew of the band MGMT, photographer Ryan McGinley (and the majority of his models), and artist François Hugon.
