More Parisian Perfume Publicities

Folllowing the successful Sofia Coppola Miss Dior Commercial, here are two more perfume ads featuring the city of Paris.

Parisienne by Yves Saint Laurent featuring Kate Moss:  the ad is sexy and Kate is super beautiful in it.  Too bad for the cheeseball final shot on the bridge.

Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci featuring Jessica Stam: the ad has the same powdery, retouched look as the Yves Saint Laurent ad and the same colours.  The flashes of nighttime Paris are quite similar too.  It has a different attitude, more playful and girly.

Winner:  Kate Moss, n'est pas?

Advanced Style

Advanced Style is a street style blog dedicated to senior citizens in New York City.  Ari Seth Cohen created the site as a means of connecting to the city he loves and its experienced inhabitants.  The photos are great, as well as the comments.  He gives great commentary on why outfits work, and recounts his conversations with his subjects: whether it's a story behind the look, a tip on a shop, or their explanation of their personal style and what inspires them.  We particularly liked his trend forecasting on Round Glasses.

Lily Bear Vacation Photos

Lily Bear escaped the Parisian Puppy Paparazzi this summer to an undisclosed private island somewhere in Canada.  She enjoyed things like sticks, wind in her fur, and all-you-can-drink lake water.  Many projects await Lily for the rentrée that cannot as yet be divulged... but one does include taste-testing prototypes for a soon to be launched fashion line (a position she previously held at Jeremy Laing).
