Michael Jackson Auction

The catalogues of the Michael Jackson Auction happening April 22-25 are fascinating.  Is Christophe Decarnin on top of this? There are a lot of glitter military jackets that he could be interested in, and that's just the beginning... it's glitter-city: from socks to shirts to riding helmets.  The amount of rhinestones this man-boy owns is no joke!  

Apart from the clothing and accesories, they are selling everything from his tour bus to finger paintings he made with Macaulay Culkin... it's weird.

The second jacket feels a little more Balenciaga to me.

French website Anna Sand is having a vente privée on Hervé Léger this week. Prices are around 60% off. I don't think any of the pieces are from the more recent Hervé Léger by Max Azria collections, but there are some excellent classic bandeau dresses available.

Salon du Vintage - Paris

This weekend the Salon du Vintage is on at La Cour du Marais, 81 rue des Archives, in the 3rd arrondisement of Paris.  Over 30 vendors from around the world will be selling vintage clothing and accessories.  There's an 80s theme going on, so expect a lot of Claude Montana, Alaïa, and Thierry Mugler.  I'm secretly hoping for some 80s Ralph Lauren.
